[VIDEO] Battle at Kruger National Park
Written by ED on May 21, 2008 – 5:20 am - Posted in Life, Trivial & Whining |Can you visualize a young calf, escaping not only from hungry lions but also the jaws of crocodiles all at the same time? Thanks to my dear friend, Crystal, who forwarded me the link, we can now throw away our imagination and watch the episode unfold live before our eyes.
I figured bumping into a group of lions is bad enough. I definitely cannot imagine how long I can last with lions sinking their teeth into my torso and crocodiles jamming their jaws into my rear end. Make a bet how many minutes I can last? This is precisely the kind of survival spirit I love to watch. The way the army of adult buffaloes came charging in looked like the movie “300“. Slow… but steady.
I was absolutely amazed when the calf literally stood up and STROLL away right under the nose of the lions. The lions must be feeling damn sore. All it took, was one courageous buffalo to send the first lion flying into the air (5min 47sec) and all hell broke loose. The lions were doomed to fail from that very second on.
Morale Of The Story: Never underestimate those whom you think are insignificant. When they eventually band together and hit you where it hurts most, even the most ferocious creatures have to make a run for their lives.
Yea… so ridiculous Governments, unethical businesses, individuals with hidden agenda… watch out. The tide might just turn on you… one day. Haha!

That’s why I have said that even these buffaloes are better (or have more guts) than Singaporeans.
