A gift
Written by ED on September 17, 2007 – 8:14 pm - Posted in Christianity, Friends, Trivial & Whining |How many times have we receive a gift that we really like? Honestly, it’s rare for me. No doubt alot of efforts have been put in by friends around me, they often end up buying an item as a gift - nothing more than just a visual display. In some cases, we probably dump it after a few years, if not months.
I received a gift this weekend…
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years…
Genesis 1: 14
And I got light… literally. Hahahaha…! How cool, I love this gadget. Definitely going to keep this book reading gadget in my luggage every time I travel, especially on dark long coach ride into Malaysia.
What a sweet gift to receive.

All my friends are very consistent, they all send me BOOKS and shopping vouchers for all occassions because they know that’ll be very safe.
The problem is, one Christmas, i said i wanted a new Bible. That year, I received 6 different Bibles.

Janice: Yea, it was thoughtful. I keep losing that one word to describe it and you thought of that word.
