Three lovely activities for this festive season.

Running out of ideas what to do? Sick and tired of all the usual clubbing and boozing? In seek of something that everyone can get involved with?

Well, here are three simple activities that you can take part in. Not least to mention, everyone around you can take part in these activities together with you!

Explore Singapore campaign is an initiative by National Heritage Board, and with its photoblogging contest, you can stand a chance to win Nikon Cameras, inclusive of a D40 kit.

Well, many of their activities are free so you needn’t worry about breaking your bank from attending one or more of the 86 activities. The aged get to walk down memory lane while the young learn more about Singapore’s heritage. It’s for everyone!

It’s Christmas and New Year coming up, who knows someone snap a contrasting shot of aged buildings with modern Christmas influence in it? Will you be the one?

The Sharity Christmas Box by Boys Brigade is no longer new to most Singaporeans.

During the festive season, it is so easy for many of us to forget most of the needy people. How about sharing the love and joy with them? Bringing along your family, I am sure all of you will feel good walking away from the box, knowing you have made another needy person smile in these times. It’s also a good way to impart a caring heart to the young around us.

Heart to Heart, supported by our dear friend Paddy, will be hanging out on 30th December 2007, to visit and distribute items as well.

Other than the high profile charities, there are still many smaller organizations that need our help too. I hold the same philosophy, that big or small, well known or not, glamorous or otherwise, nothing is better than not forgetting the needy people all around us. When able-people like us find life hard, what about the needy?

Have a merry joyous Christmas this year!
