From now until the end of December, National Heritage Board is running a massive Explore Singapore! campaign and for the first time, there will be a photoblogging contest - Heritage in Pictures where you stand to walk away with brand new Nikon cameras, inclusive of a D40 kit for the top prize.

Singapore has come a long way and as the country progresses through the years, it is important for us not to forget the heritage of Singapore. When more and more of these make way for modernisation, every piece of memory becomes all the more precious. How else better than to capture them through our eyes cameras?

With Explore Singapore! brandishing more than 86 activites, you definitely have no lack of opportunity to do so. Of which, 30 of these activities are also designed for senior citizens. Check out Explore Singapore! website for more dates and details. I am sure there is something for everyone of us.

While taking part in any of the activities, do not forget you are also standing a chance to participate in the photoblogging contest - Heritage in Pictures. Taking part in this contest is simple;

1. Attend an Explore Singapore! event and take plenty of pictures.
2. Blog about it in your blog, with your best pictures.
3. Visit Heritage in Pictures website, and register your entry with your blog-post url.
4. Check back regularly to see if your entry is included. If you don’t succeed with your first attempt, try again!
5. Get your friends to check out your entry by putting up the Brag Badge you see on the top left hand corner of my blog. (Alternatively, you can get the Brag Badge from Explore Singapore! website too.)

If you are an avid photoblogger, this is your chance now. Armed yourself with your camera and get snapping away in any of Explore Singapore! events. It’s such a so so so so so exciting month with Explore Singapore!.
