BRAND’S Blogger Challenge - Singapore emerged victorious!
Written by ED on December 3, 2008 – 4:33 pm - Posted in Blogosphere, Reviews, Singapore |Well, the Singapore bloggers won. To cut it short, Singapore team went against the odds and won with 54 points over Malaysia team’s 47. If you were there watching the challenge and aware of the point system, you will actually realize it’s not a big margin. It was a lot of fun with the rest of the bloggers comprising of Eastcoastlife, Wilfrid, Aaron, Sheylara and myself. I hope the rest enjoyed it as much as I did.
I think the Malaysia team did pretty well with Red Diva, Sultan Mufazzar, KY, Suanie and Babe in the City. They certainly deserved to be praised for taking the lead and hanging on to it for quite a while. As cool as ice, they sat back in their chairs and tackled the challenge. I think we were making more noise than them. Haha!
The Singapore team met over breakfast at Republic Plaza with the organizers. Thankfully, some of us have already met prior to the challenge so there were some pre-existing rapport between us. Personally, I met Aaron and Sheylara for the first time (apart from the Malaysian bloggers). Rinaz was there too, but I guess most of us were too concentrated in the challenge. It was not until the end of the challenge did we noticed her.
Just shortly before we left for the event, Genevieve initiated a little “exploration” which led us to realize each of us possess a certain “talent” different from each other. For example, Aaron was pretty good with mathematics while I felt my strength was memory because of all these nonsense I had to memorize at my fingertips in the past. Did these diversified “talents” help? Maybe… the BRAND’S we took faithfully over the past 14 days gave us a boost too! Quoting from Wilfrid; we took BRAND’S, it MUST work!
I think Eastcoastlife said it right, it’s a lot of difference thinking about the challenge and sitting there to do the challenge. I’m not sure how the Malaysian bloggers feel about this. Perhaps I will check out their blogs for updates over the next 2 days or so.
The challenge itself…? Nerve-wrecking! They seemed reasonably easy but seriously, you need really good concentration to go through the questions. Relax and enjoy, certainly don’t work very well here. Oh well, it was definitely very fun.
Meanwhile, I’m waiting for some pictures to come in.

All of you were fast to blog about it.
You would want to wait for Wilfrid’s photos, I’m also waiting, my camera’s not acting too good. Either that or the photographer was really bad. haha…..

Yea, I figured I could always put up another post for the pictures since our in-house paparazzi should be having hundreds of photographs.
