Welcome to my blog, if you’re visiting for the first time - Endoh Pure Ranting Room. If not, thank you for staying with me all this while and putting up with my rantings.
A small number of friends and fellow bloggers have asked, who the hell is Endoh Taiki? Why the secrecy behind the identity? Other than friends in the real world, I do not readily meet anyone online except for a few. I hope this new writeup about myself, will solve some queries in your mind.
I apologize if I can’t cater to everything, because I treasure my privacy as much as I respect yours.
I grew up in a family of four, with a hard-lined bureaucratic upbringing. A direct resultant of breaking the system, I found a voice within myself. You’re not looking at a rich man’s son, who derive success solely from monetary gain. I believe success in life, consists of a lot of other achievement. I was never good with studies, so the only way to survive as a lowly educated Singaporean is to keep reading and learning. At least, I have never believed in memorizing books and sitting through an exam in our bureaucracy.
With blessings from God, I am grateful for many mentors that have been by my side since young. I stepped into the working society at age 16, and that would have come to about 10 years of working experiences after the deduction of my NS liability. Of these 10 years in the private sector dealing mainly with events marketing, my three and a half year stint with a government department has brought me to a small handful of war-torn and unstable countries. These trips which saw the unwanted death on the streets, changed my perception of life totally.
I come with a fiery temper, but thankfully I have never had to explode in anyone’s face. As the saying goes, “Never step on the tail of a Scorpio. When we sting, you’re dead.” I am usually known to friends as solitary who does not like mega-outings. I enjoy a small cosy coffee session where I can keep my attention to individuals without having to fake a hi-bye smile.
I am also embraced as a sentimental animal lover, a frank and outspoken writer. It’s really up to anyone to perceive anything. I have no qualms about helping friends, but once I’m convinced that I am being abused or taken advantage of - every helpline will cease.
Endoh Pure Ranting Room is just a casual space where I share my thoughts and writings with regards to certain issues. You will find no niche here, but anything ranging from human behaviours to current affairs. Once in a while, I share some personal writings which will reveal the real Endoh underneath the devilish face.
At the same time, I welcome a healthy dose of discussion through the comment function. If it’s there, why not make full use of it? If you’re too shy, there’s always the Contact form.
My first experience of blogging was through the social environment of MySpace. However, when friends complained about not being able to leave comment I switched to Blogger. Following a bout of problems with Blogger, I finally ended up with my own domain hosted by Dreamhost.
